Matadero del Valle is an animal harvesting facility for local consumption and certified for exports. Currently, we provide slaughter and processing services for beef and pork, and we also sell our own product to market channels.
We developed a pilot de-boning line and our residual water treatment has been used as a model for universities like EARTH. Our waste-management processes include vermicomposting and production of organic fertilizers.
This division also includes rendering of animal fat and protein, where meat flour is produced, to be used for formulation of diets for other types of domestic animals.
